We’ve planned our second Impact Café for 27 September 2023 to discuss how we can co-create the holistic indicators of digital transformation that we need to better understand our impact in the data space. Join us and get to know your fellow members of the Europeana Impact Community. As a member of the Europeana Steering Group, we’re also proud to share the revised and online Europeana Impact Playbook. Tracing the origins of the Impact Playbook since the launch of Phase one in 2017, this marks a significant moment. You are invited to an open conversation about what we know, and don’t know, about the digitisation of Europe’s heritage collections and its impact. Building on the symposium we held in November 2022, we continue our search for more holistic indicators of impact and digital transformation. Does ‘No data, no data space’ still hold true? Yes, but the how and what we measure sets the expectation of what should be digitised.

Since 2017, we’ve published four Phases of the Impact Playbook as PDFs. Now, we’ve updated and revised the content and published this as an online guide. We’re happy that the Impact Playbook is now more accessible and easier to keep up to date and relevant in an ever-evolving social, economic and environmental context.
